Winners From the 4th Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards
The 4th Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards show took place last night in Seoul’s Olympic Gymnastics Arena. Super Junior took home three awards with 3rd Quarter, 4th Quarter and the Weibo K-Pop Star Award. Soyu also received three awards with two coming from her duet track “Some” and one with her group SISTAR.
The Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards show is Korea’s official music awards ceremony, and its winners are based on Gaon’s aggregate data for the year’s song and album sales. The show is unique in that it features no single grand prize for top album or single, instead giving awards by month and quarter.
