Super Junior's Choi Siwon on 'Dragon Blade' Star Tour in Singapore

Choi Siwon has been busy promoting his latest Chinese movie “Dragon Blade” along with co-stars Jackie Chan, John Cusack, Adrien Brody, Lin Peng and Mika Wang. The cast visited Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand in the span of one week, flying in Jackie Chan’s personal jet.

Shedding his clean cut idol image and sporting a beard for the film, Siwon transforms himself into Yin Po, a military guard on the western frontier. Running around in heavy armor costume, the tough time helped Siwon tone his physique as he filmed under the relentless desert sun.

At a media conference in Singapore last week, Siwon urged others to catch the film when it is released by professing his love “I love Singapore.” Like the rest of the cast, he enjoyed working with Jackie Chan, and “because he protects and takes care of everyone, we affectionately call him Big Brother.” Siwon was also gifted a rare T-shirt by the film’s director Daniel Lee for the former’s extra efforts in practicing his Mandarin lines until he nailed the pronunciation.
