Henry Takes Out Shoe Lifts to Be Honest to Virtual Wife Yewon on “We Got Married”
On the March 14 broadcast of MBC’s virtual marriage show “We Got Married,” two brand new couples, Super Junior-M’s Henry and Jewelry’s Yewon and CNBLUE’s Lee Jong Hyun and actress Gong Seung Yeon, break the ice.
After receiving Yewon’s home address, Henry dresses to the nines to go see her.
As he is putting on his dress shoes, he says, “If I put in shoe lifts, I’ll look impressive, but doing so is [deceitful]. If I am getting married she needs to like my true self, so I think I should take them out.”
But even after saying all of that, Henry still hesitates and has difficulty making up his mind about whether or not to don the shoe lifts, which would give him some extra height.
“I want to show [her] my real self, so I should take them out,” Henry finally concludes and leaves the house without the inserts.
