U-KISS Reaches Top of Oricon Charts for First Time with Japanese Album "Action"
Boy group U-KISS’s Japanese album “Action” has topped Oricon charts!
According to the group’s label NH Media, the album sold approximately 15,000 copies on the day of its release on March 18, landed itself in second place on the Oricon daily album chart the very same day, and snagged first place the next day.
Leader of U-KISS Soohyun said, “We are extremely happy because this is the first time we’ve achieved first place since starting our activities in Japan.”
He continued, “In Korea, we recently snagged a first place trophy on a music program for the first time since our debut with ‘Playground,’ the title track of our mini album, and it’s an honor to also achieve first place in Japan. We will work even harder.”
“Action,” the title track of U-KISS’s first full album since the addition of new member Jun, contains an uplifting message to those who are having a difficult time, encouraging them to not give up.
