Lip tints are actually lip stains that come in matte or glossy finishes. The liquid product stains your lips for long-lasting color while remaining light and comfortable on your lips. However, it is possible to layer on a water lip tint for a deeper, more vivid lip color. They don’t have a glossy finish, so they appear the most natural, but they’re not at all moisturizing, so make sure you apply lip balm beforehand. They offer the most moisture out of the bunch, making it ideal for individuals with dry lips or during dry seasons. Oil lip tints provide a nice glossy sheen that fades over time while the stain remains. I recommend this for individuals with sensitive lips.
