Lee Gook Joo Addresses Rumors of Her Dating BTS' Jin

On the July 22 episode of MBC’s “Radio Star,” Lee Gook Joo appeared as a guest and discussed rumors about her dating BTS’ Jin in the past.

After being asked about the rumors, the comedienne replies, “I did date someone who was a trainee in the past.” MC Kim Gu Ra questions, “So he was younger than you?” to which she replies, “Yes, he was six years younger than me. Jo Se Ho never met him, but said that my ex-boyfriend was a really handsome idol trainee on a broadcast. When reports came out, it somehow changed into an idol. So then all of the idols I was close to who were six years younger than me became targets.”

She continues, “So there’s a person who I have been close to for over four years and I even cheered him on at ‘Music Core’ when he debuted.” Kim Gu Ra doesn’t miss a beat and asks, “Who is he?” at which she answers, “BTS’ Jin. We are very close. He thanked me in the ‘Thanks To’ section in his first three albums and fans put two and two together. He also said that his ideal type is someone who is chubby.”

The comedienne garners laughs as she complains, “Everyone always says I’m fat and like a pig, but in this case they considered me chubby.” Kim Gu Ra remarks, “People interpret as they wish.”

Hong Suk Chun backs her up and adds, “I know it’s not BTS’ Jin.” After being asked how he knows, Lee Gook Joo explains that she brought her ex-boyfriend to Hong Suk Chun’s restaurant when they were dating.
