9MUSES Reveals They Only Make Just Enough Money to Afford Food

Girl group 9MUSES shared that being a K-Pop idol isn’t all glitz and glamor as they revealed their income.

On July 23, 9MUSES’ Kyungri and Minha are asked by Park Myung Soo on KBS Cool FM’s “Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show” how much the group makes in a month. Heartbreakingly, they answer, “Just enough to buy food.”

They then explain, “It’s hard to answer this question because our income changes depending on the time.” They add, “I think we earn enough to be able to afford food. We have to eat what we have to eat. Just as we feel like we’re about to die, money comes in.”

Meanwhile, 9MUSES recently made a comeback with “Hurt Locker” and is now actively promoting the song.
