Joo Tae Young, Hitmaker for Fin.K.L and Sechs Kies, Passes Away of Cancer
Talented songwriter Joo Tae Young has passed away after a long fight with cancer.
On September 6, a rep for Joo Tae Young told TVReport, “Today in the early morning songwriter Joo Tae Young departed this life. He was fighting blood cancer, but in the end he could not win.”
Joo Tae Yang was first diagnosed with blood cancer, namely leukemia, in 2001. He underwent a blood stem cell transplant surgery, but this past summer he had a relapse and was going through additional treatment.
Joo Tae Young is most well known for writing Sechs Kies‘ “Com’Back,” Fin.K.L‘s “Eternal Love,” So Chan Wee‘s “Tears,” Click-B‘s “Dreaming” and “Love Letter,” and Goofy‘s “Shock.” He recently also wrote Berry Good‘s “Because of You.”
