Woman Spotted With BIGBANG's Seungri at Taiwanese Club Speaks Out

It was recently reported that BIGBANG‘s Seungri was spotted with a young woman at a club in Taiwan. That woman has spoken out, claiming that she was his interpreter.

On October 3, a Taiwanese newspaper interviewed Maggie Mong, the woman who reportedly partied with Seungri. In response to the scandal, she said, “I worked as a simultaneous interpreter three or four years ago. Right now I’m not in charge of Seungri’s interpretations specifically, though I did recently receive a request to supervise the interpretation of BIGBANG’s Taiwan concert and individual schedules. The picture [that was in the media] wasn’t of a prostitute.”

She went on to say that her relationship with Seungri was not the way fans thought it was, nor was it the way the media reported it. She added,  “I’ve never once thought about becoming famous. I’ve worked with Korean stars for four or five years, and I’ve had coffee or meals with them before. I had no idea that pictures taken in Taiwan like this could cause such a big response.”

Maggie Mong has uploaded pictures with celebrities to her Weibo account before, with stars such as miss A‘s Fei, Jackie Chan, and Taiwanese actor Chen Bolin.
