iKON Takes 1st Win For "Rhythm Ta" Through "M!Countdown," Performances from Taeyeon, Ailee, Oh My Girl, and More
iKON, YG Entertainment’s hot new rookie boy group, achieves their first win for their latest track, “Rhythm Ta,” on the October 8 episode of “M!Countdown.” Congrats! They were against GOT7‘s “If You Do.”
Last Week, “M!Countdown” found itself under fire for iKON’s exclusion from its chart, to which it explained, “Our chart is a music show chart, not a regular music chart. Due to this, our chart tends to include songs that are promoted on music shows. iKON, who is not promoting their pre-release track ‘My Type’ on music shows, was thus ruled out.” YG Entertainment had responded that they found the explanation inadequate.
This week’s episode included performances from GOT7, Roh Jihoon, DIA, Lovelyz, Red Velvet, MONSTA X, Park Boram, BIGFLO, SEVENTEEN, CNBLUE, UP10TION, Ailee, OH MY GIRL, HOMME, JJARIMONGTTANG, Taeyeon, 2Bic, 2EYES, 24K, and PLAYBACK.
