Roy Kim Reveals His Motivation to Become a Singer on "Radio Star"

On the “Genius Men and Women” episode of MBC‘s “Radio Star,” Roy Kim reveals the real reason he pursued music.

Roy Kim hilariously admits, “I studied music in college and was in a band so that I could pick up women. I went to an all-boys middle school, so I was really lacking girls. It wasn’t that I wanted a girlfriend, I just wanted women.”

Kim Kook Jin then replies, “Women make geniuses,” implying that women can serve as motivation for men to become geniuses. His witty comment resulted in everyone laughing.

Meanwhile, this episode of “Radio Star” also featured Kim So Jung, Shin Ah Young, and Jo Seung Yeon.
