2PM's Nichkhun Takes Home Prize at Thailand Headlines Person of the Year Awards
2PM member Nichkhun has been recognized for his impressive popularity in China.
On November 30, JYP Entertainment announced that Nichkhun received the IME Chinese Online Media Popular Award at the third annual Thailand Headlines Person of the Year Awards. The award ceremony was held at the King Power Aksra Theater in Bangkok on November 26.
The Thailand Headlines Person of the Year Awards celebrates influential Thai politicians, business people, and entertainers who often appear in the news in Thailand and China.
Nichkhun made his debut in South Korea as a member of 2PM in 2008, and has since branched out into Chinese television through dramas such as 2014’s “One and a Half Summer” and reality shows such as “Youth Trainee.” He currently has over 5.1 million followers on the popular Chinese social media site Weibo.
