SISTAR’s Dasom to Make Film Debut in January

SISTAR member Dasom’s first film now has a release date! “Like a French Movie” is set to be released in Korea on January 14, 2016.

Shot by the same photographer for “Reply 1988,” the main poster features various characters standing out against a nostalgic backdrop of old streets and buildings. Notably Dasom stands out in a bright red coat, staring into the eyes of her co-stars with a hint of romance.

Dasom has already tried her hand at acting in dramas, including the recent “The Eccentric Daughter-in-Law.” Her co-stars include model-turned-actor Shin Min Chul, who appeared in the 2013 film “No Breathing.”

“Like a French Movie” is said to be about first breakups, first crushes, first longings, and first loves. The film is directed by Shin Yeon Shik, whose previous works include “Fair Love” (2010), “Russian Novel” (2013), and “Rough Play” (2013).
