BTS Fans Uncover the Original Version of "Boy in Luv"?
Do you love hearing the original versions of songs — before they’re polished and remixed by label producers? Well, BTS fans have just made a fantastic discovery.
We received a tip that there was another version of BTS’s “Boy in Luv” – revealed through the choreography video of a group of dancers performing an earlier draft of the slick moves the song is known for. This choreography video was uploaded on December 18, 2013, whereas the final music video for the song was released February 11, 2014 and there are a lot of differences between the two versions.
From our first listen, the original “Boy In Luv” had a much edgier feel, with more of Rap Monster’s husky voice and a louder chorus. The choreography matches this original version as well — with even more “tough guy” moves than the original, if that’s possible.
You can tell that the song being used is a demo from the random voice that appears periodically (sort of like an audio watermark) — added to keep the song from being leaked early. But, as long as you don’t let it shock you you can still enjoy this new (old?) version of “Boy in Luv”!
Check it out now and let us know what you think:
Thanks to Jessica for the tip!
