Gong Hyo Jin Says She Wants to Star in Romantic Drama with Lee Kwang Soo or Yoo Ah In
Actress Gong Hyo Jin recently held her first overseas fan meeting in Taiwan, and during her trip, she took the time to answer some questions in an interview with a local media outlet.
During the interview, she is asked which actor she wants to work with in the future. She immediately replies, “Yoo Ah In. He’s a great actor. I said in another interview in the past that I’d want to work with him. It’ll seem consistent if I say the same name this time.”
The interviewer also mentions her “It’s Okay, That’s Love” co-star Lee Kwang Soo, saying that he is popular in Taiwan.
“To be honest, I want to act in a romantic drama with Lee Kwang Soo,” says Gong Hyo Jin. “We’d look good together because of the height difference when we’re standing next to each other.”
She adds, “When I’m filming a scene and I feel like I’m going to laugh, if I look at Lee Kwang Soo then I can control myself. Lee Kwang Soo is very serious when he’s acting. When I see a younger actor working so hard, I think that I have to work hard as well.”
Gong Hyo Jin also comments, “When I was working with Kim Soo Hyun, since both of us are bad at holding in our laughter, if one us cracked up then both of us would just keep laughing.”
Gong Hyo Jin recently wrapped up shooting on her next film “Missing: Lost Child,” which is expected to be hitting theaters in the first half of next year.
