Actor Sung Dong Il‘s mother has passed away.

Sung Dong Il was in Thailand with the “Reply 1988” cast on their reward vacation when he heard the news. Sung Dong Il flew back to Korea as soon as he heard.

This news is even more heartbreaking since the actor has expressed his love and understanding for his mother in various broadcasts, revealing what hardships his mother went through to raise him and support his acting career.

As soon as the death of his mother was revealed, “It’s Okay, That’s Love” co-stars Jo In Sung, EXO‘s D.O., Lee Kwang Soo, and Lee Sung Kyung ran to his side at once. They have been in the funeral home since morning to share Sung Dong Il’s grief and comfort him.
