Suzy and Baekhyun’s Duet “Dream” Going Strong by Topping 5 Gaon Charts

“Dream,” the cross-company collaboration between miss A’s Suzy and EXO’s Baekhyun, has taken the No. 1 slot on the Gaon Chart for two weeks now.

According to the Gaon Chart, “Dream” had taken No. 1 on the Combined Digital Chart, the Download Chart, the Streaming Chart, the Album Chart, and the Social Chart by January 21.

The soulful, jazzy duet was produced by South Korea’s Park Geun Tae and Choi Jin Suk of the U.S.-and-Europe-based production company Design Music, with lyrics written by Kim Lee Na. The track is a sweet love song with elements of Neo-Soul and pop R&B.

As Park Geun Tae worked with Mystic Entertainment for this project and Suzy and Baekhyun are from JYP Entertainment and SM Entertainment respectively, the track is also a major collaboration between entertainment agencies.

In the same week (January 10 to January 16), the Top 5 also includes K.Will and Davichi’s “If You Call It Romance,” Gary’s “Lonely Night,” and Lee Juk’s “Don’t Worry, Dear” and Oh Hyuk’s “Little Girl” from the “Reply 1988” OST.

Leading on the Gaon Weibo Charts is CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa and BIGBANG.
