MAMAMOO Takes Over Music Charts With Pre-Release Single "I Miss You"

Girl group MAMAMOO is enjoying chart success with their pre-release single “I Miss You.”

The free single swept charts immediately after hitting online music stores on January 29 at midnight KST. As of 6 p.m. KST, the song continues to rank first on major music charts Mnet, Bugs, Naver Music, Genie, and Olleh Music, and places sixth on Korea’s leading music chart MelOn.

This is a particularly impressive feat considering the amount of popular releases currently competing for No.1. Other artists in the Top 5 include Zico, Suzy x Baekhyun, MC the Max, and GFRIEND.

A soft R&B ballad that showcases the members’ outstanding vocal range, “I Miss You” is a preview of MAMAMOO’s upcoming first studio album, scheduled for release in late February.
