Lee Min Jung Is a Loving Housewife on "Please Come Back, Mister"
Actress Lee Min Jung is returning to the living room theater in two years after getting married and giving birth. On February 5, a production staff from SBS‘ “Please Come Back, Mister” relayed her thoughts and feelings.
Lee Min Jung said, “Just in time for 2016, we started filming on the first day of the new year. I was excited and worried at the same time on how the shoot would go since it’s been a while for me. However, I quickly settled in by filming with fellow actors and staff members through an enjoyable atmosphere.” She then added, “I will work hard so I can be remembered through a drama that is delightful and heart-moving.”
In the new drama, Lee Min Jung plays a devoted and frugal housewife named Shin Da Hye. The first stills of the drama filming set revealed Lee Min Jung looking beautiful through a pleasantly simple outfit. On set she was seen playfully interacting with child actress Lee Rae, who plays her on-screen daughter. Lee Min Jung reportedly declined to rest during the New Year’s holiday and came out to film with the production staff. Lee Min Jung’s warm presence on the set created a bright atmosphere and boosted the energy of everyone around her.
On set, she was seen thoroughly immersed in her role. She consulted enthusiastically with the director about small details from costumes to props. Upon filming, she quickly gained the director’s approval through her cool and natural acting. A production staff member said, “From the very first shoot, Lee Min Jung displayed natural acting by becoming one with her character. Please give support for the “Please Come Back, Mister” actors and staff members who have been working very hard since the start of this year.”
“Please Come Back, Mister” is labeled as a “human fantasy comedy” and is about two men who come back from the after-life for a second chance at life. The star-studded cast of Lee Min Jung, Rain, Oh Yeon Seo, Kim Soo Ro, Honey Lee, Kim In Kwon, and more is creating a lot of interest and anticipation. “Please Come Back, Mister” will broadcast its first episode on February 24 at 10 p.m. KST after the end of “Remember.”
