Joo Da Young Faints and Goes to ER Due to Stress From Malicious Netizens

Actress Joo Da Young’s agency revealed on February 12 on a telephone interview that she has been admitted to the emergency room. The agency representative commented, “While Joo Da Young was waiting to conduct an interview for her upcoming movie and drama filming to begin, she ran a high fever of 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) and started vomiting.”

The agency representative added, “Joo Da Young has been struggling lately with some malicious netizens. She hasn’t been eating well and has been under a tremendous amount of stress. She didn’t want to make a big deal about the malicious netizens, so we haven’t done anything yet. However, under the circumstances, we are considering confronting the netizens to protect our actors. We’re gathering our materials regarding malicious comments and preparing to take legal action.”

Furthermore, the representative noted, “Joo Da Young is currently hospitalized, but her fever isn’t coming down easily. She has to regain her health in order to get back to filming and other scheduled events.”

Joo Da Young is currently appearing on KBS 1TV’s “Sweet Home, Sweet Honey.” She portrays a college student Choi Ji Ah majoring in ballet dance. Her upcoming movie “Pure Love” is slated to open on February 24 in Korea.
