New Preview for "Marriage Contract" Teases the Stakes Involved for Lee Seo Jin and Uee

The second teaser for MBC’s new weekend drama “Marriage Contract”  was released on February 29 through its official website.

In the teaser, Han Ji Hoon (Lee Seo Jin) fakes being married to Kang Hye Soo (Uee) in order to save his mom, Oh Mi Ran (Lee Hwi Hyang). Han Ji Hoon tries to memorize Kang Hye Soo’s favorite food in order to make them look like a real couple.

Oh Mi Ran, however, unhappily says, “I don’t have a daughter-in-law. Did you get married?”

Kang Hye Soo’s daughter, Eung Sung (Shin Rin Ah), also says, “I hate that guy. He’s awful.”

Snippets of Kang Hye Soo bidding Eun Sung farewell, and Han Ji Hoon being tortured over Oh Mi Ran’s hospitalization are shown as well.

At the end of the clip, Han Ji Hoon and Kang Hye Soo can be seen in a tuxedo and dress, staring at each other with blank faces.

“We’re done if it’s noticeable that we’re a fake couple,” Han Ji Hoon says in a determined voice, officially starting off their marriage contract.

“Marriage Contract” is a drama in which a man who only values money and a woman who dangling at the edge of her life meet together to find the real meaning of love. Its first episode will be on March 5, following the conclusion of “My Daughter, Geum Sa Wol.”
