MONSTA X's Jooheon to Join JTBC's "Nation of Hip-Hop" as the Youngest Producer on the Show
Jooheon, a rapper from hip hop boy group, MONSTA X, has been chosen as a producer for JTBC‘s new variety show, “Nation of Hip-Hop“
MONSTA X’s agency, Starship Entertainment, commented by saying, “Jooheon has been chosen as a producer for JTBC’s ‘Nation of Hip-Hop.’ We hope he will be able to show his hardworking qualities as the youngest producer on the show.”
Aside from Jooheon, the show will also have MC Sniper, KittiB, Din Din, P-Type, Lil Boi, and Hanhae as participants as well as Shin Dong Yup and San E as MCs. As a survival variety show, eight producers will form teams with grandma rappers to compete through rap battles, after which one final winner will be decided.
Jooheon has been building his discography as a rapper through numerous collaborations including “Fight Money” with Mad Clown; “Coach Me” with Hyorin X San E; “0 (Young)” with Giriboy, Mad Clown, Joo Yeong; “No No” with Blacknut and Genius Nochang; “Interstellar” with Yella Diamond; “Stay Strong” with Flowsik; “Get Low” with Mad Clown; and “Flower Cafe” with Sam Ock, IM, and A June & J Beat.
Meanwhile, MONSTA X debuted in May of 2015 and is being recognized as a hot rookie after rising to popularity not only in Korea but also China.
