Ryeowook and Park Hyung Sik Tell the Story of Their First Meeting on “Celebrity Bromance”

Super Junior’s Ryeowook and ZE:A member Park Hyung Sik, the newest pair of friends to star on the web reality show “Celebrity Bromance,” embark on their bro-date in March 15’s episode!

Their first episode follows Ryeowook and Park Hyung Sik as they head out in the morning to a local theme park where they’re planning to hang out together for the day. Since Ryeowook’s driving, he gives Park Hyung Sik the task of playing the music and the guys have fun listening to girl group songs together, such as tracks by MAMAMOO, GFRIEND, and Lovelyz.

In their private interviews, the pair both talk about their impressions of each other back when they first met. Park Hyung Sik says, “When Ryeowook first approached me, it felt like an angel was outstretching his hand to me.”

“I was having a hard time. I didn’t understand the entertainment industry at all and I was struggling to get used to it,” he says. “So I thought, ‘Wow, he’s really different. There’s a reason why they call them ‘Super Junior.’”

“That first meeting was really important for me, so I’ve followed his lead,” Park Hyung Sik adds.

In his own interview, Ryeowook says, “There weren’t many sunbaes who took care of me, so I thought to myself, ‘When I become a sunbae, I want to take care of my hoobaes.’”

“Park Hyung Sik was sitting, and I told him we should go and get something to drink,” says Ryeowook. “But when he stood up, he was so tall! That was my first impression of him. I thought tall people were arrogant, but because of Park Hyung Sik I don’t think that anymore.”

In addition, when asked what someone needs to be a member of his “Ryeo-line,” Ryeowook replies, “You have to be kind.” He then adds with a laugh, “And handsome!”

Park Hyung Sik later explains that the pair’s first meeting was back in 2011 when they were in the musical “Temptation of Wolves” together.
