Kim Ji Won Says She Felt Sexy Wearing a Military Uniform for "Descendants of the Sun"

At the press conference held on March 16 for the ultra-popular Wednesday/Thursday drama, “Descendants of the Sun,” Kim Ji Won reveals that she enjoyed wearing a military uniform for the role.

“Even though I’m young, it felt like the uniform made me look sexy and cool. Thanks to that, I was able to better portray the kind of deadly melodrama [that my character] lives through.”

On her chemistry with fellow actor Jin Goo, she says that their difference in age didn’t cause her any problems. “It was great that [Jin Goo] is older than me, because he was better able to lead our interactions on, and he gave me a lot of advice. Compared to his age, he is quite simple and has some boyish qualities. It was interesting, filming so that you couldn’t feel our age difference.”
