"Produce 101" Finale to Be Broadcast Live

The final round of voting for Mnet‘s girl group survival show “Produce 101” will take place during a live broadcast.

Unlike previous episodes which have been prerecorded, the final episode airing on April 1 will be broadcast live. Viewers’ votes will determine which 11 trainees make it to the new girl group, and the results will be announced during the live finale.

The 11-member girl group’s first single is expected to drop soon after the finale, and many are already looking forward to hearing their debut song. Mnet’s producers are reportedly in touch with numerous musicians to discuss potential songs for the group.

Meanwhile, the third round of voting is currently taking place online. “Produce 101” airs on Fridays at 11 p.m. KST.
