Fans Celebrate Xiumin's Birthday by Helping Children in Need

Continuing a growing trend, fans of EXO’s Xiumin have donated 8.5 million won (approximately $7300) to charity in the star’s name.

The donation is made more meaningful as the donation was made in celebration of Xiumin’s birthday, which was on March 26. The Xiumin fan club Mandu Net raises money every year to donate for medical services for the visually impaired, children born prematurely, and more.

This year, the fan club donated the 8.5 million won raised to Holt’s Children’s Services, which will go towards medical bills and medication costs for around 300 children.

Meanwhile, Xiumin is set to make his big-screen debut this year in the historical film “Kim Seon Dal.”
