Billboard Highlights Rising R&B Singer DEAN

You can add another Korean singer to the list of those making headlines in American entertainment!

Following the mentions of Taeyeon and BTS in Fuse as well as EXO, UNIQ and BTS again in Teen Vogue, R&B singer DEAN has found the spotlight in none other than Billboard. On April 11, the music rankings site posted an article on their main news page for the K-Town corner entitled “DEAN brings Korean R&B to World, Heatseekers Album Charts with Debut EP” and spoke about his first mini album “130 mood: TRBL” that was released in March, which reached the No. 3 spot on the Billboard World Album Charts and No. 22 on the Heatseekers Album Charts.

Billboard mentions how his album features tracks by Block B’s Zico, Crush, and Jeff Bernat, as well as the fact that he has written tracks for EXO and collaborated with famous artists such as Grammy winner Eric Bellinger, among others. They also made sure to highlight how he performed at this year’s SXSW 2016 in Texas.
