6 Limited Edition Korean Makeup Products You Have To Get Your Hands On
As a makeup addict, I have to confess that I often buy many products that I don’t necessarily need purely because of how adorable the packaging is. Needless to say, with the recent release of the multiple special edition collaborations from different Korean makeup brands, my wallet is a lot skinnier than before. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these super cute products and ended up ordering a bunch of products just a couple days ago.
Check out the super cute collaborations down below! You’ll want to order everything immediately!
Etude House is a brand that always has super cute packaging. However, their recent feature of strawberries in their new spring collection products is cuter than ever. I want to raid the whole place!
Out of the many products in their Berry Delicious collection, I would recommend the Etude House Berry Delicious Cream Blusher in #OR201. I am not usually a big fan of blush because I have naturally pink cheeks and often times, I feel that adding blush to my already pink cheeks makes me look like a clown. However, this cream blush blends so smoothly into the skin without having crazy pigmentation. It’s been a part of my everyday makeup routine ever since I got it!
When I first saw that The Face Shop was going to have a collaboration with Kakao Friends, I immediately went onto every single Korean beauty blog I could find in hopes of revealing more information about this awesome collaboration. The characters from Kakaotalk are hands down my favorite characters and I was determined to have every single item in their collaboration.
Unfortunately, I am a broke college student and my determination to own every single product was shot down very quickly after checking my bank account. However, I wasn’t going to miss out completely! I was able to get my hands on the The Face Shop Concealer Dual Veil. This concealer has always been one of my favorite concealers because of it’s amazing lasting power and extremely blendable consistency. Although the product itself did not change, There’s a cute little peach on my concealer now!
Skinfood has collaborated with Snoopy to release the cutest products! This collaboration is one of my favorites because Skinfood decided to release special edition packaging of more skin care products rather than makeup products.
The Black Sugar Honey Mask has always been my go-to mask whenever the seasons change because it gently exfoliates the skin without stripping your skin of moisture. After renewing this product by adding honey and Brazilian black sugar, the mask has been even more moisturizing and leaves your skin with a healthy glow.
It seems like The Face Shop has a lot of competition with the Missha and Line Friends collaboration! The Line Friends collaboration is so adorable! I was tempted to buy all of my favorite Missha products in this special edition packaging.
Out of the many adorable products, I would recommend the Eye Color Studio Mini in Number 3 Sally Orange. As many of you know, I am an eyeshadow addict. I have so many eyeshadows stashed in my desk that my roommates often look through my collection in awe as they shake their heads when I introduce my latest purchase. However, the Sally Orange eye palette has the most gorgeous shades of orange with hints of pink glitters. If you’re a bit on the tan side and are looking for the perfect summer eyeshadows, make sure to check out this palette!
Growing up, one of my favorite shows to watch was Doraemon. I would spend hours huddled up in blankets with my favorite stuffed animals rewatching every episode on the VCR. When I heard that Doraemon and A’Pieu would be doing a collaboration, I immediately went to the A’Pieu website and looked for something I could order.
Because I was running out of eyebrow mascara, I ended up ordering the A’Pieu Skinny Brow Cara. I didn’t have high hopes for this product because I don’t do much to my eyebrows. However, when I first tried on this eyebrow mascara, I was amazed by how easy the application was. The skinny applicator really makes a difference in coating each eyebrow hair and makes it easy to control!
Other than watching cartoons, I used to love reading comic books on rainy days. Although many of my peers read Garfield and Naruto, I loved reading Moomin because I loved the cute drawings. The CODE x Moomin collaboration was another one that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on.
Out of all the collaborations, I had the hardest time choosing a product to buy from the Moomin edition because everything was so cute! After much consideration and countless hours spent searching, I finally settled on the CODE Mono Cheek in Coral. I found out that this blush is actually a dupe to the Shu Uemura blushes!
