Jessica Reveals The Status Of Her Relationships With Girls' Generation Members

In an interview on May 17, Jessica shares about the current status of her relationships with Girls’ Generation members.

“There are some members that I keep in touch with and some that I don’t,” Jessica says. “While I can no longer be active with them, I hope that Girls’ Generation does well for a long, long time.”

She also addresses Girls’ Generation member Tiffany’s solo debut, which coincides with her own solo debut.

“I think my face off with Tiffany must be entertaining for onlookers,” Jessica says. “I have listened to Tiffany’s music and seen her music video and showcase. I think I saw a lot of Tiffany wanting to express herself.”

“Rather than a rival, since [Tiffany] came out with a different style of music, I would like if people had fun listening and watching. I am supporting Tiffany’s activities,” Jessica says.

Meanwhile, Jessica recently released her first solo album since debuting nine years ago with Girls’ Generation. Six hours after its release on May 17 at midnight KST, Jessica’s title track “Fly” topped three live music charts, Bugs Music, Genie, and Monkey3. “Fly” took second place on Olleh and Soribada charts, and sixth place on the MelOn chart.
