MONSTA X Explains What Sets Them Apart From SEVENTEEN And iKON

MONSTA X has shared their thoughts on being compared to fellow boy groups SEVENTEEN and iKON.

On the May 23 broadcast of SBS PowerFM’s “Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time,” the boys of MONSTA X make a guest appearance to discuss and promote their recent comeback.

During the radio show, one listener asks MONSTA X to explain what makes them unique, particularly in comparison to SEVENTEEN and iKON, who debuted around the same time as MONSTA X.

Hyungwon responds, “All three groups are excellent on stage. However, we set completely different moods when on and off stage.”

“We are manly and strong when performing, but once we’re on a radio show or spending time by ourselves, contrary to our appearance, we’re rather cute,” he describes the differences between their professional image and actual personalities.

I.M adds about their cute side, “We’re energetic on stage, but behind the scenes, we have lots of aegyo.”
