Girl's Day's Sojin Describes Her Experience As A Woman Studying Mechanical Engineering

Girl’s Day leader Sojin has shared what life was like for her in college.

The singer appears on the May 29 episode of tvN’s “Problematic Men,” where she reveals her intelligence. During the show, she talks about her experience in her university as a Mechanical Engineering major.

She states, “Among 1,000 Mechanical Engineering majors, there were only eight women. We were treated with a lot of admiration.”

The singer recalls with a smile, “I don’t think I spent a lot on meal tickets.”

She recounts, “Once when we went on a school outing, someone said, ‘Park Sojin is mine.’ It was embarrassing.”

According to Sojin, she didn’t date on campus because she didn’t start seeing anyone until after college, when she moved to Seoul and experienced her first love at 22 years old.

When she receives a question about her recent boyfriends, she simply says, “I don’t remember the last time I dated,” leaving the rest to imagination.

“Problematic Men” airs every Sunday at 10:50 p.m. KST.
