miss A's Suzy Makes Generous Donation To Support Low-Income Families

miss A’s Suzy continues to give back to her hometown community.

On June 13, it was revealed that Suzy has donated 10 million won (approximately $8,520) to a charity managed by the Buk District Council of Gwangju. The donation will be used to help low-income families living in the area.

Suzy’s father Bae Wan Young and mother Jung Hyun Sook are said to have visited the council to deliver the money.

Meanwhile, Suzy has consistently engaged in charity work. Last year, she became the second female idol after Girls’ Generation’s YoonA to surpass over 100 million won (approximately $85,200) in total donations to Community Chest of Korea, making her the 791th member of their donation club Honor Society.
