“Infinite Challenge” Members Tease Kwanghee About His “Girlfriend;" Agency Clarifies

On the July 9 episode of “Infinite Challenge,” Yoo Jae Suk delivered the shocking “news” that one of their members had a new girlfriend.

As all the members except Kwanghee are married, suspicion automatically falls on Kwanghee. It turns out that Yoo Jae Suk’s “news” is an anonymous tip claiming that they saw an “Infinite Challenge” member in Apgujeong (a neighborhood in Seoul) with a woman in his car. 

Kwanghee firmly denies that the rumor is about him but is forced to admit that he had been to Apgujeong. The members then trick him into a “confession” (he denies that anyone was sitting in the front seat of his car and accidentally makes it sound like they were in the back instead) and lift him up into the air in “congratulations” on his new girlfriend.

Yoo Jae Suk concludes by saying, “If you see Kwanghee with a beautiful woman in the future, please pretend you didn’t see anything.”

A source from Kwanghee’s agency, Star Empire Entertainment, clarified to OSEN later, “It was all done to make the broadcast more entertaining. Kwanghee is currently not dating. He is currently working hard on ‘Infinite Challenge’ but still has room to improve. It’s not a time for dating right now, but working harder.”
