"Girls Who Eat Well" Reveals New Format After Controversy
JTBC’s “Girls Who Eat Well” recently finished its first recording since the changing of the show’s format.
The show’s title “Girls Who Eat Well,” is changing to “We Will Eat Well” (tentative title), and will be a food talk show instead of a show focused on mukbang (eating broadcast).
JTBC revealed the title change, and also stated that the recording day moved from Wednesday to Saturday. A change in the host line up was also made, with Jo Se Ho, Yang Sae Hyung, and Moon Hee Jun instead of Kim Sook. The recording of the first episode included guests such as TWICE’s Jungyeon and Momo, gugudan’s Minah, and Jeong Jinwoon among others.
“Girls Who Eat Well” is a show in which members of different girl groups eat a variety of foods in order to earn the title of the best girl group eater. The show had only aired two episodes when it was met with some criticism, and announced that changes to its format would be made.
The first episode of “We Will Eat Well” will air on July 23.
