I.O.I To Return With New Kind Of Concept Unlike "Dream Girls"

Girl Group I.O.I plans to return as a unit group with a sexy-chic concept that’s different from their usual cute character.

On a recent episode of Mnet’s “LANCableFriend I.O.I,” a recording of I.O.I’s unit group practicing was revealed. The unit group consists of seven members including Jeon Somi, Choi Yoojung, Kim Chungha, Im Nayoung, Kim Doyeon, Kim Sohye, and Zhou Jieqong (also known as Pinky). The group plans to return with a different image than their concept for “Dream Girls.” The clip shows the girls practicing with powerful gazes and dance moves that incorporate both sexy and chic movements.

Kim Chungha, a member of the group, actually participated in choreographing the dance. “Kim Chungha planned the choreography with her dance teacher,” revealed her agency YMC Entertainment.

I.O.I plans to make a comeback on August 9.
