6 Things You Didn't Know About the Cast of "W"
The action-packed “W” has been holding my undivided attention as of late, making my brain explode with every new twist, turn, and revelation. Each new episode has me almost kissing my computer monitor, and I can’t get the next one fast enough! When the withdrawal kicks in (WHHYYYY OLYMPICS *shakes fist at the sky*), what can we do but read as much related content to the drama as possible? Check out these six facts about our beloved actors below!
This sah-woony actor has stated that biting is how he expresses his affection to the people he feels comfortable with. Girls’ Generation’s Yuri has even mentioned before that when she first met Lee Jong Suk, he bit her. Guess he liked Yuri pretty well!
In Korea, there is a term called a “successful fan,” which is when a fan is able to get close to or be recognized by the celebrity he or she really admires. Han Hyo Joo has stated in the past that her celebrity crush was So Ji Sub, and in 2011, she was cast in “Always,” starring opposite – you guessed it – So Ji Sub! The role she was cast in wasn’t just any role either: They played lovers… and had some swoony kissing sessions. She was living every fangirl’s dream!
Besides So Ji Sub, Han Hyo Joo has also worked with many A-list actors, such as Lee Seung Gi, Lee Byung Hun, and Lee Jun Ki, to name a few.
The veteran actor Kim Eui Sung has starred in many hit films, such as “Train to Busan” and “The Face Reader.” However, the only other drama he was in was the hit sageuk “Six Flying Dragons!”
Lee Jong Suk made his entertainment debut as a model, participating in the Seoul Collection program as its youngest male model… at a whopping 15 years old! (I don’t know about you, but I think I was a potato when I was 15!) After that, he trained as an idol… with SM Entertainment, no less! SM told him they would help him fulfill his dream of debuting as an actor. However, the agency instead decided to prepare him for a career as an idol, so Lee Jong Suk quit within three months. Can you imagine him as an idol?
Along with himself, 5urprise consists of four other actor-idols: Seo Kang Joon (“Cheese in the Trap“), Gong Myung (“Entertainer“) , Yoo Il (“You Will Love Me”), and Kang Tae Oh (“Twenty Again“).
The last drama she starred in was “Dong Yi,” in 2010. Since then, she’s starred in EIGHT movies. Even my potato-self is starting to feel inspired by her awesome passion and motivation.
