Park Bo Gum Opens Up About "Reply" Series "Curse"

On August 18, Park Bo Gum attended the press conference for KBS2’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds.”

During the press conference the actor was asked about his thoughts on the supposed “Reply” series curse which claims actors who appear in the series experience difficulty having success with their following projects. The actor enjoyed great popularity through “Reply 1988” and “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds” is his following drama.

Park Bo Gum answered, “I’m upset about the term ‘Reply Curse.’ ‘Reply 1988’ is a project that is a blessing; it made my face and name known [to viewers].” He further commented that he doesn’t think his former co-stars failed in their follow-up dramas.

The actor thoughtfully discussed how each project is special to him including “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds.” He revealed how thankful he is to be able to act in the drama and mentioned how much fun he is having with it. Lastly, he asked viewers to look forward to the drama and tune in.

“Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” will premiere August 22 at 10 p.m. KST. Catch it on Viki!
