Wonder Girls member Sunmi showed some love to her idol juniors Umji and Yerin of GFRIEND.
On August 19, Umji and Yerin’s shared birthday, Sunmi uploaded a photo of herself making a thumbs up and wrote, “Thumb up ??????❤️.”
Although at first glance a rather mysterious post, GFRIEND fans were quick to realize that Sunmi was giving a shout out to Umji and Yerin in a clever way (Umji’s name in Korean means “thumb”).
Umji had recently revealed that she is a fan of Sunmi and how she would love to get a birthday congrats from her, and it looks like Sunmi granted her wish!
