BTS's Japanese Album Overtakes Top Spot On Oricon Chart
BTS has slayed the Oricon chart in Japan with the release of their second album “Youth”!
According to their agency Big Hit Entertainment, their album recorded a total of 44,457 copies sold on the first day of its release on September 7, topping the Oricon Album Daily Chart.
“Youth” is their second full Japanese album after their last release in December 2014 with “Wake Up.” The album contains tracks released in Korea that were remade into Japanese, such as “RUN” and “FIRE” as well as “For You” and “I Need You.” It also contains “Wishing on a Star” which is a new song.
BTS recently performed at A-Nation, which is Japan’s biggest music festival, alongside other famous Japanese artists such as Koda Kumi and Yamasaki Ayumi.
