10 Romantic K-Drama Rain Scenes
What’s a K-drama without a rain scene? As every fan knows, there’s something about rainy weather that can add to the emotional intensity of any scene. Plus, it’s easy to get lost in the beauty of it. These scenes often involve the two main leads frolicking or flirting in the midst of a rainstorm while gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes. Sigh. Isn’t it just so romantic?
Here’s a look at 10 K-drama rain scenes that are almost impossible to forget (in no particular order).
I think all of us were swooning big time when we saw Jung Hwan (Ryu Jun Yeol) waiting outside in the rain for Deok Sun (Lee Hyeri). Almost everything he did for Deok Sun in this drama was enough to fall for, but this particular rain scene was just too sweet. Not to mention that perfect one-liner, delivered so perfectly. And that background OST.

…my heart!
There were a few really cute and sweet rain scenes in this drama, since the story line involved Ji Sung Joon (Park Seo Joon) being traumatized from rain as a child. I was literally screaming inside during this episode because Sung Joon finally realized who his childhood friend, Kim Hye Jin (Hwang Jung Eum) was. The rain just made it so much more dramatically amazing. That hug. The feelings!
Oh my So Ji Sub, right? Who wasn’t swooning over this man in this drama? I especially loved this rain scene because Kim Yeong Ho (So Ji Sub) confesses to Kang Joo Eun (Shin Min Ah) that he is genuinely interested in her. Don’t you love the rain drops falling against his car window as he gazes longingly at her? The manliness.
The phone booth, the rain, and the music made a deadly combination in this scene. Kim Rae Won and Park Shin Hye’s effortless acting also made it all the more better. The dancing in the rain, laughter, and kiss made this scene was oh so romantic and oh so unforgettable.

Don’t you miss them?
I am absolutely obsessed with this rain scene. Although this specific part isn’t with the main lead, I thought Jin Young and Kim Yoo Jung were too perfect. They’re both just so pretty. Hearing the sound of the raindrops was so effective in adding to the budding romantic feelings Yoon Sung has for Ra On. I’m smitten. I can’t even.
Although not a romantic rain scene, this is definitely a memorable one! In this particular scene, Baek In Ho (Seo Kang Joon) totally breaks my heart. You can really feel the sadness of his unfulfilled dream as he watches the TV screen. The rain can’t even mask the tears he sheds. It’s like the rain storm is embodying how he feels inside. Not to mention the sad piano music in the background – ughhh, the sadness. Wasn’t this drama adorable? Wasn’t this couple adorable? I couldn’t even talk about how many mixed emotions I had during this scene. One second Dan Bi (Kim Seul Gi) and Lee Do (Yoon Doo Joon) are running around lovingly in the rain and the next second they’re ripped apart from each other’s arms. Look at how they gaze into each other’s eyes, though.
In case that scene didn’t give you closure: [viki start=1122]http://www.viki.com/videos/1093360v-splash-splash-love-episode-10?utm_source=soompi&utm_medium=drama&utm_campaign=10-romantic-k-drama-rain-scenes&utm_content_id=895259wpp[/viki]
In this scene, the rain provided the perfect chance for Seo In Ha (Jang Geun Suk) to finally get a chance to talk and get closer to his crush, Kim Yoon Hee (Im Yoon Ah). I loved the whole feel of this drama and it felt like there was always a rainy overtone, especially in the earlier episodes. You could really feel the pure and innocent love from this pair! Choi Dal Po’s (Lee Jong Suk) quiet and sincere confession to Choi In Ha (Park Shin Hye) in the rain was so romantic – don’t we wish it was real! The pylons were such a cute touch, too. But, seriously, these two have chemistry that’s through the roof. Another Ryu Jun Yeol scene, another swoon-worthy romantic scene. I love how he follows her around with the umbrella while getting soaked himself. Serious relationship goals.
