5 Reasons You Need To Watch "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds"

To be honest, I don’t have the time to watch all these amazing dramas, but when it came to “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds,” I had to give it a chance. I promised myself I would only check out the first episode… which led to the second episode… and of course, here I am recommending this drama to all of you.

Seriously, this is a drama that cannot be missed. Here are five of the many reasons why you should be watching this drama.

Park Bo Gum alone is adorable, but when you pair him with Kim Yoo Jung, there just aren’t enough words to convey how cute they are. Their flirty bantering, innocent gazes at each other, and their undeniable chemistry – these two are a match made in K-drama heaven. I honestly could not have asked for better main leads.

I knew when I saw the trailer with Park Bo Gum dancing to “Boombastic” that this drama would be funny, but I really didn’t expect it to be this funny and charming. I couldn’t help but love his subtle smiles and smirks.

Just stop. Stop being so cute.

Kim Yoo Jung also does such a good job carrying the comedic aspect of the storyline. I was thoroughly impressed with her ability to react so effortlessly to all the strange situations she got herself into. Who knew she could be so funny?!

This drama is breathtakingly beautiful. There are many scenes where I found myself hitting pause just to admire how well this drama is produced.

While there’s nothing flashy or crazy in production value, there’s still so much to appreciate. The acting and the script speak for itself. It’s not only a romance tale between the Crown Prince, Lee Young and his Eunuch, Hong Ra On, but it’s also about family, friendship (we can’t forget Kwak Dong Yeon ‘s character, Kim Byeong Yeon!), purpose, and loyalty. You’ll find yourself laughing and crying in the same episode.

So pretty, right?

I’m not even gonna lie; I’ve been listening to this song on loop since it came out. I may or may not also be seen lip-syncing to it.

The amazing part about this specific song is that it was produced by our one and only Jinyoung. We all know Jinyoung is a skilled producer, but this song is just crazy beautiful. This isn’t the only song that’s amazing either; the OST for this drama also includes Sung Si Kyung, Gummy, Eddy Kim, and K.Will. Could it be any more perfect? The songs in every episode add so much more emotional intensity to the scenes.

If you’re like me, you’re a lover of love triangles and you have a serious case of second lead syndrome in almost every drama. This drama is no different. But what’s the best part of this specific love triangle that we can hardly look past?

The boys.

What more could we ask for, right?

I know it’s hard to compete with Park Bo Gum as the main lead, but Jinyoung, who plays Kim Yoon Sung, does such a great job of carrying his weight. His playboy ways contrasted by undying love for Ra On is so dreamy to watch. I really couldn’t get enough of the scenes where he was boldly proclaiming his love to her. THE FEELS.
