Lee Joon Talks About Getting Acting Tips From Netizens
In a recent interview from October 25 about Lee Joon’s new film “Luck-Key,” the actor shares how he reacts to criticisms about him on the internet.
When asked where he gets tips to improve his acting, he reveals, “I gather them from the internet. I read mean comments, think, ‘Ah, so this is how I acted,’ and ponder over it.”
He continues, “I read all the compliments as well. I normally monitor comments on my acting a lot, but this time for ‘Luck-Key’ I can’t do it as much. The film is performing well so there are many reviews about its weak points, and I can’t read them all. Usually, I acknowledge and accept those judgments about my acting. I don’t deny them.”
He shares, “Honestly when I read mean comments I sometimes get hurt too, but I accept them. That’s my job, so I have to recognize praises and criticisms alike. I spent time secretly agonizing over them alone at home. Looking back, it was an issue of whether I should accept them or not.”
Meanwhile, “Luck-Key” is a Japanese movie remake about a charismatic killer whose identity is switched with an obscure actor because of a bathroom key. The comedy film stars Yoo Hae Jin and Lee Joon. Since its premiere on October 13, the movie has attracted over 4 million viewers and is emerging as a box office hit.
