Yoo Seung Ho And Kim So Hyun Cast In New Historical Drama

Yoo Seung Ho and Kim So Hyun are returning to the small screen – together!

They have both been cast in the MBC drama “Ruler: Master of the Mask” (working title). It will be a historical drama set in the Joseon dynasty in the 1700s.

Partly based on real-life history, the story is about a crown prince (Yoo Seung Ho)’s righteous struggle against a powerful and wealthy organization that seeks to privatize the water supply. Kim So Hyun plays the female lead, Lee Ga Eun, who tries to get revenge on Yoo Seung Ho’s character for executing her father but ends up falling in love instead.

The drama will be broadcast sometime in the first half of 2017.
