BTS Proves Worldwide Popularity With More Twitter Accomplishments

They’ve been in Twitter’s Top 10 Trending Artists, Twitter Korea’s Top 10 Most Followed Accounts, Top 10 Keywords, and even achieved “Golden Tweet Of 2016.”

But BTS’s domination of the Twittersphere extends far beyond their native land. According to Twitter Japan, the group placed 7th in the country’s Top 10 Artist-Related Keywords, and is also the only foreign artist in the list.

Further down south, BTS took the honor of being Philippines’ 5th Biggest Twitter Moment in 2016, and Singapore’s 7th Biggest Hashtag Trend of the year.

Notably, the K-drama “Descendants of the Sun” was No.5 for Singapore.

Finally, in Indonesia, the group not only took the prize for being the 7th Most Popular Moment of 2016, but also the 5th Most Popular Hashtag.

Notably, another K-pop group made Indonesia’s Most Popular Hashtag list at No.7!
