Kim Woo Bin Talks About His 9-Member "Group" Of Actors Including Jo In Sung, Song Joong Ki, and EXO's D.O.

In a December 15 interview with actor Kim Woo Bin, he revealed that he is part of a close-knit “group” of nine actors.

“There are nine members, but no particular name for our group,” he said. “By age, Bae Sung Woo is the oldest, but by experience, it’s Cha Tae Hyun. The others are Jo In Sung, Song Joong Ki, Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Ki Bang, Im Joo Hwan, me, and Do Kyungsoo (EXO’s D.O.).”

This group is well-known to fans as well as in the entertainment industry. Jo In Sung’s house is often the gathering place for their meetings and despite their busy schedules, they often try to make time for trips together. This past November, Jo In Sung, Im Joo Hwan, and Kim Woo Bin even attended EXO’s concert in Japan.

“We went on a trip to Japan and since it matched up with Kyungsoo’s concert, we went to see him,” Kim Woo Bin said. “It’s hard to match schedules so we don’t go often, but we try to go with whoever is available.”

He added, “When the movie ‘Brother’ premiered, our group chat went wild. Every night we would post ‘Brother’s’ score and write congratulatory messages. We were so happy that Kyungsoo’s movie was doing well.”

Next up in this “group” is Kim Woo Bin himself, whose film “Master” premieres on December 21. Some of the “group” members are expected to show up to support him at the VIP preview on December 19. Cha Tae Hyun and Bae Sung Woo also have films coming out early next year.

“It’s very exciting,” Kim Woo Bin said. “There are a lot of events to congratulate each other on. Kyungsoo started us off well so the feeling is good. The group chat will be on fire from now on. It’s always a little loud. We never stop talking.”
