Koreans Choose Top 10 Artists And Top 20 Idols Of 2016
Gallup Korea has released their results for 2016’s Top 10 Artists and Top 20 Idols!
In July, September, and November, a nationwide survey (excluding Jeju) was conducted, in which 4,200 people aged 13 to 59 were asked to name their top three favorite artists, while 1,500 people aged 13 to 29 were polled on their top three favorite idols. The results are as follows:
Top 10 Artists:
- Lim Chang Jung, with 11.8 percent of the votes
- TWICE, 9.9 percent
- Jang Yoon Jung, 8.9 percent
- EXO, 7.7 percent
- Girls’ Generation, 6.9 percent
- Lee Sun Hee, 6.4 percent
- Gummy, 5.9 percent
- BIGBANG, 4.9 percent
- GFRIEND, 4.7 percent
- BTS, 4.7 percent
Top 20 Idols:
- Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, 11.8 percent
- IU, 6.6 percent
- TWICE’s Tzuyu, 6.3 percent
- BIGBANG’s G-Dragon, 5.9 percent
- EXO’s Chanyeol, 4.5 percent
- Apink’s Jung Eun Ji, 4.4 percent
- SISTAR’s Hyorin, 4.3 percent
- EXO’s Baekhyun, 3.7 percent
- BIGBANG’s Taeyang, 3.7 percent
- AOA’s Seolhyun, 3.6 percent
- TWICE’s Nayeon, 3.2 percent
- Block B’s Zico, 2.7 percent
- Red Velvet’s Irene, 2.6 percent
- BTS’s Jimin, 2.5 percent
- miss A’s Suzy, 2.4 percent
- TWICE’s Jeongyeon, 2.4 percent
