Viewership Ratings Still Strong For "Romantic Doctor Kim" Despite 1-Day Cancellation
It seems that being cancelled for one day because of the 2016 SBS Gayo Daejun had no effect on “Romantic Doctor Kim” as the drama has reclaimed its position as the most viewed drama of its time slot.
According to statistics released by Nielsen Korea on December 28, the 15th episode of “Romantic Doctor Kim” scored viewer ratings of 23.7 percent. This is 0.8 percent higher than the ratings of episode 14. In the same time slot, KBS’s “Hwarang” had ratings of 7.5 percent while MBC’s “Night Light” came in at 3.8 percent.
The statistics for the latest episode are only 0.1 percent lower than the highest ratings for the series, which was 23.8 percent for episode 12. It looks like it’s only a matter of time before the drama sets a new record for its viewer ratings.
