Kim Sook Shares Why Park Bo Gum Hugged Her At The KBS Entertainment Awards

Comedian Kim Sook revealed the story of how she received a long overdue hug from Park Bo Gum!

Kim Sook appeared as a guest on the December 31 broadcast of SBS PowerFM’s “2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show.”

During the show, she stated, “I tried everything I wanted to this year. I couldn’t ask for anything more.”

She talked about the celebrities she wanted to meet and shared, “I’ve met them all. I saw Park Bo Gum too. I’d heard all these impressive stories about Park Bo Gum so during the Baeksang Arts Awards, I asked him to give me a back hug. He left without being able to do it, but I heard from Ra Mi Ran that he still remembered,” referring to an instance when the actor asked Ra Mi Ran to relay his apology to Kim Sook.

The comedian continued, “Then I saw him at the waiting room of the KBS Entertainment Awards, and he suddenly hugged me and said, ‘This is the hug I couldn’t give you back then.'” Park Bo Gum had remembered and fulfilled Kim Sook’s request from June 3 nearly seven months later, on December 29.
