Ku Hye Sun Admits She Was Initially Against Appearing On "Honeymoon Diary"
Ku Hye Sun recently shared with reporters details about her married life and her initial hesitation to appear on “Honeymoon Diary.”
On January 4, the multi-talented actress held a press conference about her art exhibition “dark YELLOW” at Hangaram Art Museum in Seoul.
When asked if her marriage had any influence over her works, Ku Hye Sun said, “It’s said that marriage makes people more mature, but for me, marriage means becoming a kid again.”
She continued, “When I’m with [Ahn Jae Hyun], we become really childish. I had a lot of thoughts like wanting to pursue innocence and other things like that.” But she added, “Married life and my work are separate.”
Ku Hye Sun also talked about joining tvN’s “Honeymoon Diary,” saying, “I don’t know why we did it. I was against it. [But] my husband said ‘Honeymoon Diary’ would become memories, while I said that it would be like a record. I don’t know how it happened, but I got persuaded.”
She then laughed as she said, “It’s not an easy thing though. [Filming] was really hard. Yesterday as we filmed, I thought, ‘Do I have to do this?'”
She continued, “Revealing our married life was not an easy decision to make. It’s not like I’m in a business relationship with my husband, but because it would be broadcast on air, we thought, ‘Let’s show that we’re getting along well.’ We fought a lot because of that. It’s difficult.”
However, Ku Hye Sun also said, “It will be interesting.”
“Honeymoon Diary” will be releasing its first episode on February 3. Watch the teaser here!
