IU Wins Lawsuit Against 11 Netizens For Defamation

Since last year, Loen Entertainment had been suing a number of netizens for malicious comments about IU, and it was recently revealed that 11 of those lawsuits succeeded, giving the perpetrators a monetary penalty.

Loen Entertainment made an official statement saying, “We had planned on revealing the details behind the charges, but we deemed the comments too indecent to reveal because they contained sexually offensive phrases and malicious slander. We concluded that publicizing them would hurt IU, her family, and her fans even more. We will be making our utmost effort to prevent any more harm from being done by taking legal measures without hesitation.”

Loen Entertainment will be keeping a close eye on any malicious rumors, slander, or the spreading of false information about artists under their labels.
